P90X - Do Over

January 31. I am not too happy with my results lately I found myself really struggling with my workouts. Today I woke up with the sniffles, feeling sick and tired. With so much frustration in myself I just had to get over it. THATS IT! My last straw. I knew I had to push harder!!! So today I decided a P90X do - over.



1/31/11. P90X Day 1 - Chest and Back and Ab Ripper X.
Today instead of the bands I used the pull up bar. With my newfound determination, I was able to do the pull ups even though I had one foot on a chair. I was never able to do that before. I used the bands last year when I first completed P90X with my husband. For some reason I had it in my head that I couldn't do a pull up. I psyched myself up and myself up to fail. Today I decided not to think and just do it. I listened to Tony Horton. He said never say can't. Don't say I can't do it. Say I struggled with. I use to say I can't do pull ups. Today I changed my language and said...Yes! I struggle with pull ups but I will try even if I have to put my foot on the chair. WOW! It felt great. I was also able to do it. I will keep on going until eventually I will be able to do it with out the chair. Yay!!! Thank you Tony Horton!

By the way, I burned 602 calories today with Chest and Back and pushing through with AB RIPPER X. Woo hoo!!!
